Health Insurance Committee Informational Website
The health insurance committee is comprised of one member of each bargaining unit (the county has many unions they bargain with) Each bargaining unit, has 1 representative, and one back up rep. The health insurance committee meets 4-5 times a year to look at how we are doing with our health care fund, to protect and insure that it continues to be healthy.
Each voting member (one member from each bargaining unit can only give 1 vote I.e. merit has 1 vote, basic has 1 vote, sherrifs have 1 vote, supervisors have 1 vote, etc.)
